The 2021 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R has received some annual updates.

Its most striking feature is the colourful (if patchy) new paint scheme that has black, white, red er… patches with red stripes on top of the customary lime green. Its body shape is still the same as the 2020 model’s. 

The engine is the same punchy 636cc, DOHC, 16-valve, inline-Four which produces 126 hp and 70.6 Nm of torque. It should produce more peak power when the ram air intake takes effect. 

Other features include Kawasaki Traction Control, power modes, Kawasaki-ABS, and Kawasaki Quickshifter.

The bike will see it competing with the likes of the Yamaha YZF-R6, Suzuki GSX-R600, and perhaps the upcoming Aprilia RS 600 in the pure supersport class.

We have tested the 2020 model recently and found that it has lots of low-down and midrange torque, which makes riding on the street and tight tracks a breeze.
