A new Caltex Havoline motorcycle engine lubricant has been launched through the return of the Ride Strong promotion.

There are two ranges, both semi-synthetic. One is for four-stroke motorcycle called the Havoline Super 4T, and the other for scooter engines called the SuperMatic 4T. Both are formulated with C.O.R.E.+ Technology which is the enhancement of the prior C.O.R.E. Technology. This formulation further addressed the needs of stop-start riding in urban conditions where the oil is exposed to high heat at low flow. In other words, to resist carbon build up and sludging, besides consumption and so forth.

The oils are also formulated with ZOOMTECH which delivers better oil frictional properties. This is especially useful for motorcycles with wet clutches (almost all motorcycles) as it improves clutch grip and prevents slippage under high load conditions such as hard and sudden acceleration. This ensures maximum power transmission.

The Havoline Super 4T carries the latest API SN service standard and is JASO MA2 certified for wet clutches. The Havoline SuperMatic 4T is JASO MB certified for scooter engines, on the other hand.
